Do I Hate Percy Jackson?

I'll get straight to the point - NO.

I adore Percy Jackson. BUT, I have this challenge that I did for myself, to read eleven books this month. I have started reading the third book last week; Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse. But Percy Jackson books do take long to finish to be honest. I have stopped reading it now after five chapters. I will read a few books, then go back to it.

I mean, don't get me wrong. I LOVE Percy Jackson. It's a great series. It's just that I wanna finish my 11 book challenge.

I look forward to finishing this lovely series.

Warm Bodies - Isaac Marion (Book Review)

Title: Warm Bodies
Author: Isaac Marion
Publishers: Vintage 2010
Pages: 239

Short Summary:
The book talks about a zombie named R, who lives in a plane. He saves a girl, Julie, and makes her stay in his plane for a few days till it's safe to leave. When it's time to leave, he doesn't want her to. But she does. When she leaves, he goes to her house the day after. I don't know if it's a war, but something like that happened. in the end, blah blah blah, don't want to spoil anything.

Characters I liked/disliked:
- R: A caring person, different as Julie says. I like him. He's hot too, if you saw the movie.
- Julie: Beautiful. Obsessed with Pad Thai.
- M: I don't like him, I don't know why. Maybe because he tried to ear Julie?
- Norah: Stupid, for sleeping with Perry. But at the same time, nice of being friends with Julie, and accepting R.
- Julie's dad: He just gets on my nerves.

Stars: FIVE.
Why: It actually made me love zombies since I had a fear of them. The way it was written was incredible. Everyone should read this.

April 2015 Wrap-Up

Hi, everyone! It's the beginning of May, and the wrap-up to April. I have been too busy with school every since it started. So I haven't been reading as I was in summer vacation. Anyway, I have read three and a half books in April, and I'm very disappointed. Here are the books I have read in April:

1- Hexed - Michelle Krys Four Stars

2- Insurgent - Veronica Roth (reread) Five Stars

3- All the Bright Places - Jennifer Niven Five Stars

4- Warm Bodies - Isaac Marion (current read) Four Stars

I have already reached the ending to Warm Bodies, I may finish it today. In May, I will try reading as much as I can. I have already listed the books I want to read this month, let's just hope I read them all.

29 April 2015 Book Haul

Hello, everyone! I still haven't finished my current read for a Book Review, so I will post a book haul. I went to the mall with my dad, and so I got THREE books. I haven't shopped for books in a while now. Here's what I got.

1- 365 Days of Wonder - R.J. Palacio.
I read Wonder before, and it was simply amazing. I was waiting to get this book for a really long time, and now I finally have it!
2- Dreamland - Sarah Dessen
I have never read any Sarah Dessen books, but I own two books of hers now. I heard that she's a great writer, so why not pick up her books?
3- Angelfall - Susan Ee
I fell in love once I saw this book cover. I just had to get it.
This is what I got yesterday. I seriously can't wait to read these. I heard many great things about these books.
Anyway, that's all for today. I will try finishing my current read as soon as possible to post its book review here.

All the Bright Places - Jennifer Niven (Book Review)

Title: All the Bright Places
Author: Jennifer Niven
Publisher: Penguin Books 2015
Pages: 378

Short Summary:
Finch meets Violet at the Bell Tower at school, they were both about to jump off the building. But they do not. Both Theodore Finch and Violet Markey have reasons for this. (Don't wanna spoil anything.) Finch picks Violet to be his project partner in U.S. Geography. They keep wandering around Indiana for their project. As they spend those days together, they fall for each other more and more each day.
(More exciting things happen, but again, I don't wanna spoil anything.)

Characters I liked/disliked:
- Finch: He's probably handsome, and really tall. He gave me the idea of writing good words in post-its and sticking them on the wall, and ripping bad words I write.
- Violet: In my opinion, she can be careless at times, but she is still a great character, with a great way of writing. Especially the fact that she and I both have the gift of writing.
- Roamer: For sure, everyone who read this book probably disliked this character because of the way he treats Finch. I mean, come on, everyone hates bullies.
- Finch's Dad: I kind of disliked this one. Being careless of his children, seeing them only once a week. Of course, it would be hard for his kids to see him for a few hours a week.
- Violet's Parents: They could've gave Finch another chance. I think at one moment they were too hard on Violet, but most of the time, they would be handling her quietly.

Stars: Definitely FIVE.
Why: The book is just incredible and amazing. I only read it in four days because of how I got into it quickly. I would definitely recommend this book to all people.
